Swap anyone into any video

SwitchReel makes character-swap videos. Pick a moment from a video, choose who to replace, and add photos of who plays them: friends, pets or characters. The new cast performs the same moves, with the same camera cuts and the original sound.

How it works

  1. Add a video: upload an MP4, MOV or WebM file, or paste a public X post or a direct video link.
  2. Pick a moment of 3 to 30 seconds.
  3. Choose who to swap. SwitchReel finds the people and characters in your moment.
  4. Add photos of who plays each of them.
  5. Tap Generate. It usually takes a few minutes.

Questions

Do I need an account to try it?
No. Everything up to Generate works without signing in. You buy credits or sign in when you generate.
How long does a video take?
Usually a few minutes. When many people are generating, yours waits in line, and we email you when it’s ready.
What if a video fails?
The credits it used come back to your balance automatically.
How long are my videos kept?
Finished videos stay in your account until you ask us to delete them.
Who can I put in a video?
Only people who agreed to it. You need permission from the people in the video and in the photos you add.
